Fierce, destructive, hybrid Germanium/Silicon) fuzz/distortion with switchable clipping stages, and highly usable EQ shaping options.

EVOL is a hybrid Germanium/Silicon fuzz inspired
by the Big Muff. The Evol takes the pre and makeup
gain stages from the BM, but with completely
redesigned, switchable clipping stages to make for a
different beast altogether. More snarl and aggression.
More gated, untamed.
Simple, interactive controls make it easy to find the
fuzz for you. From velcro ripping at lower Bleed
settings to all out wall of fuzz assault, Evol has you
covered!

• VOLUME - Master output volume control.
• BLEED - Gain control. Turning clockwise adds distortion. lower settings for ripping velcro, higher for walls of thick fuzz, and all else inbetween.
• TONE - The backbone of the interactive EQ, including MID and COLOUR Switch.  Full sweep from left (bass) to right (TREBLE).
• MID - Scooped fully anti-clockwise to full hump clockwise. This control interacts closely with the TONE knob, allowing varying degrees of Mids to be added into your fuzz tone. This control is great to help cut through the mix in band settings.. They will hear you!
• 1-STAGE-2 - The EVOL uses a primitive semi gated fuzz for each stage of clipping. STAGE 1 is LOUD, lower gain, more aggressive. STAGE 2 is HUGE,  has lower overall output, but don't be fooled. This is the the sound of planets colliding... Heavier, more low end, just turn the volume up! Select between one stage of clipping or 2 for different textures.
• COLOUR - A subtle EQ control that smooths out the high frequencies when switched to the right. More noticable when both TONE and Mid controls are set past noon.

(PLEASE ONLY USE STATED POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE : +9VDC - Standard Boss, MXR type 2.1mm barrel adaptor. It is recommended that a quality, isolated DC power source with Ritual Devices pedals.)
